A Venue with a difference? The Independent at North Sydney offers a 300 tiered seating Theatre Auditorium with state of the art lighting and sound.
The Independent has five years' experience producing corporate events for major corporations, associations and event organisers. In the refurbishment program particular care has been taken to upgrade our technical facilities to state-of-the-art efficiency. We now offer our clients a large Cinefold Screen, (5 metres wide x 3 metres high) with a Projector set up for rear projection to enable the speaker to walk in front of the screen. The whole production is a seamless presentation operated by the Theatre Technician from our bio box with intercom communication with your staff.

As you enter the building you are greeted by a large foyer with Edwardian style arches, where you may greet your clients or entertain your guests in comfort and elegant surroundings. Full bar and catering facilities are available.
The Seaborn room on the upper level seats up to 80 people and is 92 square meters with high Ceilings, natural light and no pillars. The room can be set up U-Shape, cabaret or theatre style. The daily delegate rate including room hire, Morning Tea, Buffet Lunch & Afternoon Tea is just $60 per person.*
